Who hasn’t heard the news that Tim Tebow has joined the Jets!? Well, unless you have been living under a rock, or in some cave in North Korea, everyone should now know that the player most famous for being famous, Tim Tebow, was acquired from the Denver Broncos. Even though he will only be used as a backup Quarterback, fans will still line up to buy Jets tickets in the hope to see him play.
Will Tim have any success in New York? Who knows really? The one thing you can be sure of is the controversy that will come along with having your back-up QB getting more attention than your starter. The New York Jets did sign other players to their roster since February. In fact, they signed a few respectable names to play for the beloved Green and White. In addition to singing Landry, fans that own Jets tickets were happy to hear that this organization signed former Oakland Raider WR, Chaz Shilens. The WR is known to have another gear left to pop while opposing DB’s are all but tapped out and winded. The problem facing Shilens is his health issues. The WR is also said to be made of glass and has missed a lot of playing time due to injuries. If this guy can keep all his parts together and doesn’t get hurt, he could be the type receiver that can run circles around DB’s down the field. With all the hoopla being made about the Jets landing Tebow, seems most are too occupied to notice the other deals they made.
